MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) attended a promotional event for "Ramayana" in Mumbai on September 26, and after someone in the crowd shouted "Jai Shree Ram," Ranbir Kapoor taught him the chant and the room erupted. According to Indian Express, the event ran at the DNEG/Prime Focus office with Sai Pallavi, Ravie Dubey, director Nitesh Tiwari, and producer Namit Malhotra in attendance.

The movie is reportedly a Rs 4,000 crore two-parter with Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman scoring it, and the worldwide marketing strategy is a YouTuber. Not a tour, not a billboard, not a trailer: a man standing next to the lead, coached through a sacred chant on cue, the crowd's reaction filmed from a good angle. The "global strategy" is a fan at a Q&A, shot from a better seat.

What makes it delicious is the ownership math. Times of India caught the bow moment, Ranbir lifting the prop while the room lost it. The bow is the product. The YouTuber is the unboxing video.

And the man is not a guest anymore. Malhotra produces Ramayana, and he is also producing The Angry Birds Movie 3, which Beastie has a voice part in. The producer owns the movie, the studio, and the voice. When your biggest influencer is also your co-producer's voice actor, you don't have a cameo. You have a resource.

YOUR TURN: The chant, the bow, the unboxing. Which was the least fake moment in Mumbai on Saturday?
