According to Deadline, Dhar Mann announced "Creator City" on Sunday, a 4-acre LA campus with 175 sets built as actual brand stores, opening in Super Bowl week.
175 sets. 15 concurrent productions. The pitch says content campus, but the set list reads like a strip mall directory: Starbucks, Target, the store inside the store where the store is the plot. Creator City is a food court with a soundstage lease, and the campus render looks less like a Hollywood lot than the rendering of a shopping plaza after the anchor store went bankrupt.
The partners fit the vibe. Samsung is in, Disney greenlit two series, and a Disney exec told Variety the scripts are "excellent" and "so 2026. Maybe it's already 2027." That is not a review. That is a loyalty card program with a quote.
The CEO's keynote pep talk was "Don't get attached to your job title," which is exactly the energy of a campus where the title is the product. Fifteen years of believe-in-yourself videos ended in a sponsor logo. Creator City just put a zip code on the sponsorship.
