According to E!, Kylie Jenner closed the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on October 18 as the first non-Angel to wear the Fantasy Bra, ending the piece's eight year absence from the runway in a $50 million bustier. It is 4,410 natural diamonds around a 75.54 carat Fancy Vivid yellow stone: no fabric, just under four pounds, and 1,000 hours of Jacob & Co. work. Chief creative officer Adam Selman defended the pick by calling the show "fandomonium" and calling Jenner "a great catalyst," while her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet cheered her on from the front row and Gisele Bundchen made a surprise cameo that was one press release away from a comeback announcement.
The Fantasy Bra was supposed to be the highest honor a woman in underwear could earn. Now it is the most expensive line item in a brand deal. The Angels used to be given it. Now it is a placement, and the wings are the only free part of the package.
Selman's "she's really created her own culture, how many people can say that" is PR speak for "she has a following the other candidates do not." The bra is museum quality, according to the people who sold it. The brand is clearance quality. That is the only thing in the room worth fifty million.
The show knows the bra alone is not enough, which is why it had to bring out Gisele like the brand's own seance, the ghost of what this show used to be appearing to bless the newest SKU. Barbara Palvin walked about a month postpartum. But the front row is a content farm, with Timothee cheering, Kris filming, and the woman herself posting "BEST DAY EVER" while wearing the most expensive bra in history.
A bra made of gold and diamonds and no fabric. A show made of cameos and follower counts and no standards. The Fantasy Bra is back, and the fantasy is doing just fine. Victoria's Secret is the one in the hole.
